Talk at BIOPC 2026, the 11th Bioproduction Congress

Fabien Balme was selected to pitch EncapX® at BIOPC 2026, the 11th Bioproduction Congress in Lyon. He spoke on Wednesday 23 September 2026 at 2:30 pm, in the H-Experience Auditorium, in the session Breakthrough Innovations in Bioprocessing.
The talk was titled “From Formulation to Bioproduction: Why Next-Generation Therapies Require Next-Generation Encapsulation Technologies”. He presented Biotech One’s approach to continuous nanoparticle encapsulation, and EncapX®, the CO₂-assisted millifluidic platform designed to bridge formulation development and scalable bioproduction.
The company describes EncapX® as a supercritical CO₂ millifluidic platform for the continuous production of nanoliposomes and LNPs. The stated aim is to help biotech, pharma, CRO and CDMO teams move from R&D formulation to robust, reproducible and industrially scalable production, and to address some of the usual limits of current methods.
Biotech One thanked the BIOPC 2026 organisers for the chance to present, and for the discussions on bioproduction, biotherapies and scale-up.
