Controlled nanoliposome formation with EncapX®
16 February 2026

A recent dynamic light scattering characterisation of nanoliposomes produced with EncapX® shows a main intensity peak at 93.3 nm and a PDI of 0.151. The sample is a single unimodal population.
The distribution has a defined peak and no detectable secondary population. A PDI around 0.15 indicates a narrow size distribution, which matters for reproducibility, colloidal stability and predictable biological performance.
EncapX® is described as enabling controlled formation of lipid-based nanoparticles under scalable processing conditions. Compatibility has already been shown with several active compounds, including RNA systems (mRNA, siRNA, antisense RNA) and other pharmaceutical actives. The same note says the scope continues to widen across cosmetic and advanced lipid nanoparticle platforms.
